BURNcast remembers 1999 well. It was a cold year. A very cold year. robotron3k the videographer for this video says of this piece:

“This is a short video of Burning Man shot by James Baker of SF (8mm film, musik by the orb). I have often had a hard time describing the BM experience, but this video does best example I can think of to show you what it looks and feels like. The video is actually enlarged many times from a low rez file but I think it adds to it’s dream/creepy like look. enjoy burners and non-burners alike…”
